METHOD OR APPARATUS FOR WRINKLE TREATMENT

Publication number: 20170050048

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed for skin wrinkle removal. After applying a tube encircling a relatively small skin area along the wrinkled line, a set of laser beams will be activated. The laser beams are mounted around the tube, pointing to its center to create a mutual point of irradiation located just below the skin's wrinkle line. Optical energy from lasers is directed to a point under the skin by radiating through the transparent tube. For ease of use, the encircled skin portion is lifted, preferably by vacuum, enabling laser radiation to penetrate under the skin from outside the lifting tube. The apparatus is suitable for treating skin wrinkles by targeting the sub skin melanin without damaging skin surface. The apparatus may also be used for other aesthetic face treatments, including disorders located around the eye. The used laser radiation is in the wavelength region of 1500 to 1800 nm, which is regarded to be eye safe.

Wide-field scanning tv

Patent number: 6345129

Abstract: A method and apparatus electronically correct real image distortions caused by lens defects, designed-in distortions (fish-eye lenses), and angular distortion (due to trigonometry, and present in all lenses). The distorted images is directly detected by a photo-sensor array (e.g. a CCD image pickup) as pixel data representing the distorted image; optionally the lens is scanned over a small CCD array to generate different images. The raw image data is downloaded to a computer, in which special software corrects the distortions and reconfigures each raw image onto a virtual spherical surface. The corrected images are juxtaposed to build up a composite virtual image on the virtual sphere. Data representing the virtual image can be transformed back to a flat display surface for viewing any portion of the composite scene without distortion and without discontinuities between juxtaposed images.

Tomographic imaging system with scanning apertures

Patent number: 5661562

Abstract: A tomographic imaging system works with a conventional real image formed by, e.g., a lens. Scanning is over an image formation area of the image plane. A plurality of differently-oriented scanning apertures are disposed over the surface of a spinning element (disk or rotor drum). A detector is located behind the image plane for creating a signal proportional to light passing through the scanning apertures, which sweep over the image. The apertures are swept through the image plane in a first direction by the spinning of the disk or drum; they are simultaneously swept in a second direction, also lying in the image plane, that is perpendicular to the first direction, by appropriate mechanical mechanism. The simultaneous sweeps allow signal processing means to reconstruct from the detector signal a scanned image by using conventional tomographic algorithms. The device may include a variable-diameter aperture and means for moving the aperture over the image formation area; this acts as a "zoom".

Abstract: An optical scanning system scans a light beam across a target. A transmissive optical element receives a light beam from a laser light source and transmits the beam to the target. A mechanical oscillator coupled to the optical element oscillates the optical element and causes the transmitted light to scan across the target. The optical element may be at least one transmissive lens with a magnification ratio greater than one. Thus the relatively small distance of oscillation of the optical assembly results in a relatively larger distance of scanning across the target. The target may be a photosensitive recording medium having an image forming surface for recording an image and transferring the image to paper.
